Oscar Mayer Weiner Whistle

"This is a neat advertising promotional piece from Oscar Mayer Co.,that you don't see much anymore. Here is a vintage plastic Oscar Mayer Weiner whistle. Not like the ones you see now days, when tou find them.Thenewer ones have a platform under it,with four wheels and the label or band is a stick on label that always comes loose. This older whistle has the lable printed right into it. It measures 2 1/8" and is in very good condition.Works great. From a smoke free home."

Bad Timing

our house

hillary.  this is where we're going to live in california.  it's hearst castle.  and it's in the clouds.  we may have to move from room to room to avoid the hourly tours.  and we'll have to choose between swimming in the indoor or outdoor pools but i think it will be great.

let's take a bath together

let's jump in our claw foot tub, invite our friends over and smoke cigarettes and drink champagne.  it's hot enough...

goodbye winter

i will miss my fur coats.

slim aarons.

every summer i find myself wanting to live inside a slim aarons photograph.

the fool.

the fool represents the mystical cleverness bereft of reason within us.

the fool is both the beginning and the end.

Heat Wave

I read somewhere that New York culture underwent the greatest shift with the invention of the air conditioner. Suddenly life lost its raucous energy that bred lovers and enemies in the sweaty street to window interactions of daylight's meandering glance. Either way, I hate New York in the summer. This is what I like to associate warmer weather with - a windy beach in Maine where the temperature barely skims seventy degrees.

Alice Liddell's Birthday: May 4th

"I see nobody on the road," said Alice.

"I only wish I had such eyes," the King remarked in a fretful tone. "To be able to see Nobody! And at that distance too! Why, it's as much as I can do to see real people, by this light."

chasing the dragon

growing up, my family's dining room table was an antique opium table my mother had bought from thailand.  I never thought it was weird to eat cross legged on the floor off a table that opium addicts used to nod out on.  Perhaps this was an indication of my future to come...

Anyways, I've been obsessed with opium dens ever since. I mean who wouldn't want to lay around all day surrounded my beautiful fabrics and soft pillows while chasing the dragon?

mind the gap

is it strange that i think gaps in teeth are sexy?  i used to sit in front of the mirror when i was little and imagine myself with a gap.

i still want one.

river phoenix with a dash of keanu reeves

I've been having a really hard time these days coming to terms with the fact that there is absolutely no hope that River Phoenix and I could have children, get married, have tons of children, and get married, and then have tons of children again. To cope, I've been watching My Own Private Idaho a lot. And saving up for this shirt:

which anyone lucky enough- or rich enough- can buy here

I actually like his wardrobe in the film, too. I suddenly feel inspired to wear white pants, boots and shearling lined jackets. And potentially strike up a friendship with Keanu, although that's not actually anything new.

I love you River Phoenixiloveyouiloveyouiloveyouiloveyouiloveyouiloveyouiloveyuousdjflsdjkflsdj

i wanna have a badlands summer

This includes a Badlands boyfriend and Sissy's Badlands closet. The rest would probably be a bad idea.
